Deduction Meters should be considered if you use a lot of water for outside purposes (i.e. - filling a pool, watering a lawn). These meters will deduct the water consumption units use outside the home from your total water consumption, thereby reducing your sewer bill to account for water that did not enter the sewer system directly.

We have deduction meters for sale or rent in the Municipal Office. Rentals are $5.00 per week, plus a $100 deposit which will be returned to you when the meter is returned in good condition.

Purchase of a meter is currently $229.00. The meter must be installed by the homeowner. This price includes; a Sensus 5/8” X ¾” meter and external reader pad, connection fittings (2), permit fee, revenue fee, and inspection.
