Stormwater - Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP)
As part of the NPDES Permit requirements Bethlehem Township will be implement a series of BMPs throughout the Township. These BMPs will assist in managing stormwater runoff and reducing sediment loading entering our local waterways. As these projects are started, we will update this page with photos so you can keep track of our advancement to meeting the goals set by PADEP. Stormwater - Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
The funds generated from the Stormwater Fee will be dedicated to the stormwater program and will include addressing flooding and meeting the stormwater requirements mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP). Construction of these projects is expected to begin in 2023 for flood mitigation efforts in the areas of Walnut Street as well as detention basin retrofits in various places. Improvements in the area of Santee and Easton are also being planned.
