Tai Chi
18 years and older
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. We will practice gentle movements for Yang style Tai Chi and learn Yang Short Form.

Tai Chi has been proven to lower blood pressure, increase flexibility, improve balance and help deal with everyday stress. This class is beneficial for adults of all ages and fitness levels. Please wear loose fitness clothing to class.

Beginner - Tuesdays, 5:00pm-5:45pm
Advanced - Tuesdays, 6:00pm-7:00pm
Session I: May 3rd - June 7th

Women Move For Health
This gradual 12-week women's program will help you comfortably progress from the couch to walking, jogging or running at a pace that's right for you. Educational topics are held throughout the weeks including training principles, injury prevention, motivation, nutrition and more.

Learn To Rally & Play Tennis
18 years and older
This program is designed for the beginner tennis player. Program will be held outside at the tennis courts, weather permitting.

Canvas Painting
Relax while you paint the night away! Create your own acrylic painting on various sized canvases. No experience needed; just be open to a fun night out. Please wear old clothes. Instructions and supplies are included.

Women On Weights - WOW
18 years and older
Whether you are a beginner or advanced weight training participant, this Women on Weights class is designed for you. The training will consist of using weight equipment, core strengthening equipment, interval training and fat burning exercises. This class will increase your metabolism and build lean muscle.

Yoga for Stress Relief
18 years and older
Enjoy some quiet time with this calming and relaxing yoga workshop. Students will flow through a sequence of gentle and restorative yoga poses suitable for all practice levels. Essential oils will help to relax and refresh the mind and body.

Foundations of Yoga
18 years and older Start or refresh your yoga practice. In this beginner yoga series, you will learn the fundamentals of a yoga practice including common yoga poses, how to maximize breathing, how to get the most out of your practice and an introduction to meditation. Poses will be broken down slowly and modifications will be given to help prevent injury. Students should be able to transititon from the floor to standing without assistance. Please bring a yoga mat, water and a beach towel or blanket.

Tai Chi Qigong 18 Step - Level II
18 years and older Qigong is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves controlled breathing and gentle movements. Though Tai Chi and Qigong complement each other, they are separate disciplines. Qigong concentrates specifically on the movement of Qi, life energy, through the body. The 18 step Qigong form, also known as Shibashi, was created around 1980 by a Qigong master to provide a simple set of exercises to promote health and healing. The movements, done in a standing position, are easy to learn and simple for most people to do. Please wear loose fitting clothing and flat shoes to class.

Small Group Training
18 years and older Small Group Training is one of the newest fitness offerings at BTCC. Join a certified personal trainer and 4-6 fellow partipants in a 4 week program designed to challenge and gradually advance a specific fitness skill or goal. Enjoy more personalized instruction with a group that is more intimate and goal-oriented. This is a great option for those who are looking for an effective, high quality workout and enhanced fitness at a very affordable cost.
