Community Development Staff

The Community Development Department includes Planning, Zoning and Construction Officials office.

Community Development Director
The Community Development Director oversees operations of the Department, administers the subdivision and land development process, serves as liaison to the Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners, and assists the Township in drafting land use and zoning plans / documents.

Commercial Construction Official
The Commercial Construction Official provides plan review and inspections for all commercial, industrial, and institutional uses, and is the acting fire code official.

Residential Construction Official
The Residential Construction Official provides residential plan review and inspections.

Zoning Officer
The Zoning Officer administers the Zoning Ordinance, and serves as manager and liaison to the Township's Zoning Hearing Board, assists a variety of zoning and planning issues.

Assistant Zoning Officer
The Assistant Zoning Officer provides generalized support to all Zoning Ordinance related functions of the Department.

Code Enforcement Official
The Code Enforcement Official enforces the International Property Maintenance Code, performs all residential re-sale and rental inspections, and addresses all property maintenance complaints.

Code Compliance Official
The Code Compliance Official provides review, inspection, and general support to the Commercial, Residential, and Code Enforcement Officials.

Office Manager
The Office Manager assists with maintaining overall functionality of the department and acts as Secretary to the Planning Commission.

Clerk
The Clerks processes all permits and submittals to the department, and assist with questions at the permit counter and over the phone.
